Shipping policy
Delivery and Shipping Policy:
Shopping carts typically ship within 3-4 weeks of your order. If you ordered custom printing in the shopping cart, it may take closer to 4 weeks. Shopping carts ship via LTL (Less than Truckload) Truck Carriers. You should expect a phone call from the shipping company to arrange the delivery.
Shopping baskets and other accessories will ship between 1 and 2 weeks from when you placed your order. These products usually ship by parcel carriers such as UPS and FedEx.
Shipping Quotes:
Please note that our shipping quotes are for curbside delivery only, so you will be responsible for removing the items from the truck. There is no guarantee that the truck will include a lift gate unless you order lift gate delivery for an additional charge. The charge for a guaranteed lift gate varies by product or manufacturer. We have seen it as low as $25.00 and as high as $150. If the freight company shows up with a lift gate even though you did not order it, DO NOT use the lift gate service, even if the driver says it’s okay. They will bill you for the lift gate service even though you did not order it or need it.
Product Inspection:
Please thoroughly inspect your shipped products immediately upon arrival. Do not sign for the shipment unless you thoroughly inspect each item. If you sign a delivery receipt without reporting any damage or suspicion of hidden damage, you remove damage responsibility from the carrier and place any damage replacement costs with you, the customer. DO NOT accept any damaged orders you may receive. All damaged items should be noted on the freight bill and REFUSED.
Transportation Damage Claims:
Claims for damage which occur on a carrier chosen by our customer are the responsibility of the customer. Claims for damage that occur on a carrier chosen by Carts4U are the responsibility of Carts4U. All claims of this nature must be received by Carts4U within 5 days of the product delivery date. All claims require a signed delivery receipt which notes the damage and is signed by both the customer and the carrier. It is highly recommended that customers include photos of the damaged shipments with their claim forms. This will facilitate the process. Again! DO NOT accept any damaged orders you may receive. All damaged items should be noted on the freight bill and REFUSED.
